Are you investing for the future?

[Even if it's only $5-10 dollars a month, it all adds up. Luckily, I'm able to stash about $3-4k per month, but I wasn't always in that position. Everyone should have a budget and be able to visually see where their money is being spent, and how much is being saved. I'm in my late 20's, and I have over $200k in savings, plus my house is paid-off. I have several cars, all paid off, and I recently purchased a parcel of land. All of this can be accomplished by anyone with hardwork, and smart financial management.

I encourage everyone to read up on finances as much as they do on propogating marijuana. Just something to think about, hopefully this sparks something in someone's mind. You don't want to by like the 60 year old guy saying "hi" and "bye" at Walmart. Start planning now, so you don't have to worry about it later.]

Don't be shy, come on in!

yo honestly dood it sounds like bragging....not to be a dick..but n one here gives 2 shits about our socio economic state. well except for you, over and over again theres been constant emphasis on money, property, net worth, etc etc. Sounds like you got a Lou Dobbs complex, msnbc detox? i dunno but either way not trying to come off as a dick but money is not the key to everything. You really cant take it with you, and as far as a future ? hmm i dunno lets see if we make it out of 07 and then ill consider a "future". **** the money spend as much time with your loved ones as possible!!

OG, you should take time to read your previous post if your going to continue to make-up stories, you seem to be having a difficult time keeping all your bull shit straight. You have made yourself look like a " fool who knowingly plunges his hand into a box of poisonous snakes hoping to draw forth an ele."

And by the way, anyone that really has $200,000 cash isnt stupid enough to put it in a savings account where they would lose money after taxes & the annual increase in the cost of living.

I've been extracting small portions of my $97,000 winnings over the past 7 weeks. I've managed to get about $33k until they locked my account for "unsual/suspicious activity".

I have a 1969 Camaro, fully restored. I bought it for about 40k a few years ago, and it has increased in value pretty substantially for a car.

Well, I'm starting to look into buying a new house and sell my current one. My price range for a new house is $375k, tops. I'd love to buy some land and construct a house to my liking, but that is unfortunately not an option in my area.

I bought a 4 acre spread in a northern state, right across the street from a lake. There are utilities on site, the land has been surveyed, and is buildable. It is a 2 minute drive from a huge ski resort, and I can't wait to start building on it. I make pretty good money from my business, but without marijuana assisting me along the way, I wouldn't have been able to afford this venture.

The asking price on the lot was 137k. I got it for 89k. It will cost me about 240k to build the type of house I want to build on it.

I thought most U.S. banks wont insure more then 100k in the bank?

Its funny to watch you make an ass of yourself though! :muahaha:

bury your $$.

if you get busted the state will take EVERY BANK ACCOUNT, EVERY SAVINGS ACCOUNT, YOUR CAR, YOUR HOUSE, YOUR COMPUTERS, EVERY $$ YOU HAVE.

It happened to me. I had 1/2 lb. of pot, a scale, and some lights I wasnt even using (I wasnt dealing either, I just dont like buying pot every week), and they took everything I had. $40,000 worth of car, computers, bank accounts (10+ years of saving and "investing for the future")... I wish I could go back and bury my money somewhere, because money in the bank is NOT yours.

I hate hearing about stuff like that. I know that people that get busted for small amounts don't have their stuff seized. Do you have any information on what it takes for the police to have the authority to seize assets?

NEW YORK [AP] Fortune has just announced that New York Yankees owner George Steinbreener has agreed to sale the team to Imaginary Drug King-Pin DepthsOfOG for an undisclosed price. Yankee insiders say the deal is worth between 3-3.5 billion dollars.

YO! YO! You know, I just flipped my last harvest for $6,000 a pound and didnt have room for all dat cash at my Mama's house, so I say to myself, I think I buy me a Baseball team. Said DepthsOfOG.

According to DEA sources 'Depths Of OG" is believed to be the head of an imaginary drug cartel based out of his bedroom in his Mama's house.

As most, I do try and save some money every month. (not nearly as much as the OP). But he brings up a interesting topic.

Lets face it, asset seizure happen (As Jack has vouched for) and it should be done away with. It is a sham!

However,The idea of stashing cash reminds me of when I had a wealthy person tell me that basically "cash looses its value 1/2 every ten years". (5% annual) Looking back... I believe this is correct. (at least) I can get a CD for darn near 5% today.

So if you bury this cash for ten years you are pretty much guaranteed to loose half of its value. ( I aint diggin that!)

Then again the thought of my funds buy a new chopper for the local popo makes me want to vomit.
Tough topic.
Earning money is tough- keeping it is tougher. (so i hear)
