this thought occured to me lastnight...are we in the age of the end of days..is America now Mystery Babylon spoken of in the Bible?

Are we all trapped here in a matrix waiting for our hero to come save us?

its interesting that history is littered with lost civilisations, some with remnents left behind and others completely gone.

IMO there is a common thread to their demise and it focuses on water. In many cases the cities changed their surrounds so much that the very thing which made is possible to settle diminished. A city can directly affect its local atmoshphere to the point that it changes. Areas that had good rains dried out.

This can be through deforestation, building on wet lands and drying the areas out. trees = air mositure and rain particles and wet lands the same. replace with roofs and roads and it changes.

Then the society goes into water saving mode. Its the totally wrong course. The society dies. It has been happening for millenia.

Correct course is to stop deforestation and replant what we have destroyed in the areas we destroyed. Cities need to put up a canopy of green to help build that moisture back up. using more water is needed not less... but its how thats the most important.

I want to know why they sold all our water and now tell us we have to conserve. In some cities they are tellling them they have to drink their own toilet water. "recycled" of course... what kind of country is that which tells its people to drink their own piss while wasting clean water

The Apostle Paul thought 2000 years ago that he was living in the last days. I guess that is why he was an apostle and not a prophet.

Yeah it is BUT it is deeper than just one country. The whole world will become babylon and the last days doesn't mean the world will cease to exist, it means a new age will come about.

The bible is basically about astrology, sex, and drugs. Jordan Maxwell speaks on this.

What I think is going to happen is the few who know how food, "drugs"(mushrooms, cactus, cannabis) and sex effect your mental state will raise the frequency of the world and use this knowledge to control the ones who don't.

Learning about the kundalini and using sex(orgasms), food, and drugs to raise it's power will be needed in order to survive and fight the evil people who want to control everything and everyone out there.
Here's a program he has done on this:

Theres one phony "author" in the bible. Not to mention that, over the years Jesus's teachings have become disstorted due to cultural changes/language changes. In there language they didnt even have a past, present, or future. It was all just the present.
Jesus was trying to help and give hope to the people of that time. He taught them of the kindom of god within you.

The government thinks thus has the power over us. The common/middle class has become followers.
I feel it has become another time for a great change in power.
The sick part about this country now is, money is power.
All the power right now is with the top 10/5% richest.

Anyone who thinks we have another 50 years left going along as usual is seriously missing the big picture.

The whole system depends on everything else to run properly...one things gets messed up and the whole thing falls.

With the rising overpopulation, toxification of air and water, global warming, oil depletion, deforestation etc. it is quite obvious that in most of our lifetimes it is all going to undergo a radical change if we are all to make it through.

So yes, I believe these are the 'end times' in some sense.

We're a disillusioned lot to be sure because what we’ve created for this modern day monolith called America is an uncertain unsteady future. I'm sure if we had the time and the littlest imagination we could twist scripture to fit what's happening in the world today, so we don't have to see the truth of ourselves. That's human nature all the way, we blame it on destiny so we don’t have to take responsibility for what we do.

Somewhere along the way we started living like individuals all squeezed under the banner of democracy.

We're a selfish, crazy, arrogant and beautiful lot, but somewhere along the way we stopped believing, and what we were left with is a shadow of what's possible, a mere glimmer of a bright and possible tomorrow. Our culture has become one of reality TV. shows drowning in manufactured pain, and we sup on it and call it normal. We've chosen this economy of cold materialism so it is we that must face the implication of that act.

Would it fucking kill us to spread a little bit more love instead of fear? Instead of looking for negative issues in the bible, we should try to see some of the positive.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

~John 13:34-35~

Hey that sounds like America!
Actually I'm hoping were living in the end of days, because according to what i've seen...If this isn't the end of days then everyone in this country has a very grim future to look forward to. I'm really worried about the kids today, they will have none of the freedoms we had and rather than teach them to be responsible for their own actions, their world will be one where the abudancy of rules and regulations will stifle or out right kill the spirit of adventure, and learning we felt. Theirs will be a world of snakes and snitches
of suspected terrorists, suspicion, of learning unbiased hatred tword Muslims
and discrimination. Even when chimp leaves office, the inevitable fall of the American way of life will still happen.I think President Bush is only phase 1(he's too dumb to be the ultimate evil) and if you didn't like phase 1 ...you're really not going to like phase 2.
