Are too many bubbles bad for rooting clones?

Hey guys, I took two clones yesterday and put them in a really small tupperware bubbler. I'm just concerned cause the stems are being really battered with bubbles, as there's so many of them due to the container's small size. Will it be detrimental to root growth?

Thanks!

I'm assuming your stems are below the water level? If they are try lifting them up/lowering the water level so its just below the stems, the bubbles should still get them wet as they break at the surface. They might be getting too wet if they're submersed.

If you lower the level just take one of the clones out after 10-15 min and make sure its getting splashed by the bubbles. I check my clones multiple times when I first put them in the cloner to make sure they're getting the right amount of moisture. I prefer that the bottom 1-2" only get wet.

The short answer would be no although I root my clones with NO bubbles at all.

btw, Stonetech is right, in a bubble cloner your stems should dangle above the water but close enough to get thoroughly splashed.

Good luck, SOG

Ah crap mine were submerged, that's probably why it's taken them so long - I'll change it now, cheers guys!
