no doubts autoflowers are great ....but are they really worth the work for lousy 10g per plant?

i dont think they r good for ppl with 1-3 plants but if u got a good growroom with enough space to grow they are great^^

For people with time restraints or who grow outdoors where security is a priority, they're great. Outdoors, finishing in July compared to Oct. makes my life a hell of a lot easier.

I think the question is... Are they worth the lack of work?

lol, but I do agree with you. Unless you have an efficient system and a lot of plants, I can see AFs not being worth it.

I have grown JD's LRII and LL AK47. The LRII was not bad and gave up about 3/4oz per plant. They were SUPER smelly during budding and the smoke was OK. maybe a 3.5 on a scale of 1-10. smooth fruity tasting smoke.

The LRXAK47 stunk like cat piss and the smoke was harsh and a weak headachey type high. I would give that a 3. It did produce over an ounce per plant, frosty as hell too, but not potent.

I have beans for another 5 auto strains that I will grow out, probably outdoors next year. But I do not think I will waste my lights on them inside again, if the rabbits eat them I will not be heart broken.

Regular 12/12 strains can be grown 12/12 from seed, or like I do, a week or so in veg and 2 gal perfect pots and then flowered, they stay small and produce KILLER bud . So far my two auto experiences have steered me away, the time and money invested along with the quality of the finished product really make regular strains my first choice.

I think they are cool for a very compact, fun type grow. But if you like high grade herb I would take a pass.

If someone has a recommendation for something auto that can compare, potency wise to serious seeds WR or AK47, please let me know. I would try it. I just hated spending all that time waiting for low grade smoke.

im pretty much over autos for indoors, they dont make much sense really, i mean most take 70 days and in just a week or two more u could have some really fine award winning smoke, outdoors autos are the only way to go for me, whos got 5 months to be exposed outside, not me.
