Are These Pistils??

8 Days ago I took clones of 2 different plants (both bagseed--and to determine sex once they took root)

I did a clean job-

I took my vegging plants (which have been vegging for more than a month), then I cut the top 4 nodes and 3 nodes of each plants, respectively.

I cut the sten with a sterile x-acto knife at a 45 degree angle, then I exposed the flesh vertically. After that I trimmed excess foliage from the top (cutting the bigger fan leaves tips off and altogether removing the bottom nodes), then placed in standard rooting hormone gel before placing into already very wet soil.

It is standard potting soil (not Miracle Grow or anything like that), with the water (that I made the soil almost to a mud-like solution) I added a drop of Technaflora Thrive-Alive B1 Green solution. I kept the two clones under an upside-down CD 50 Pack Clear humidome (that I sprayed with a spray bottle 2-4 times a day), all while the two sat under just one 26 W CFL.

The peculiar part is that it's been on 24 hour light the entire time. I'm thinking all the stress and long veg time (mixed with the fact that it is some random bagseed) made the plant go into flowering (I had a couple other plants that exposed ball sacks the same way)--but hey, I just may be way to stoned.

Thanks to everyone for helping, any help is appreciated!!

Thanks Kindly,

Tumuli

No mate those are called stipes I believe*, pistils appear from a tiny calyx that will grow just behind those. For future reference pistils appear in veg too so it doesn't mean the plant is in flower mode just that it is sexually mature and ready to flower when you are ;)

e2a: *stipule that's it cheers

no mate its not pistels you are looking at....its called a stipule
its the right place to look at though....it will come out just inbetween that stipule and that new stem
and i'm thinking the last pic will be a male...can't see clear though..

Core hit the nail on the head. In your 2nd pic, if you look at the arrow closest to the bottom of the picture, the pre-flower is there to the right of the stipule and to the left of the new growth tip.

Thanks everybody for the extra information, I'll have to start looking more closely to try do determine the preflowers. Which plant is cruzin referring to, the first or second one?
