The growing tips discoloration is usually a sign of overfert*, toghether with burnt tips. (*that simply means they have too much nutrients in the growing medium.)
What have then been feed?

Overfert is fixed by giving them just plain water for the next period or a light flush. (water 2-3 times more water than usually and allow it to drain and leech the nutrients out.)
you also need to fix the thrips problem. search for thrips and thrips eggs on the underside of the leaves, next to the white clusters. they are small, so have a 10x magnifier at hand. if you see signs of them, use the search box here at icmag for thrips remedies.

good luck!

well, if they have no flowers at this time, it's almost guaranteed they'll not be ready by X-mas. especially with them having problems and beeing under low lighting conditions.
what temp are there if you say they're outdoor? ar you at the tropics?

Thrips. Get some spinosad, shit works well.

^^Listen to the man.

Monterrey Garden Insect Spray (spinosad) is safe and will work to remove your thrip infestation.

Good luck!

^^^ I second that! Thrips leave jagged lines in the leaves and sometimes there's a silvery residue left behind ...a had thrips for the greater portion of 2011, got me some Monterrey and I haven't seen a thrips since!

And it's organic!!!
