Are theese female pre-flowers?

hey Fingers, thats what i was hoping...well this is not my first grow..i have had several indoor crops in the last two years.. I was just wondering cuz i have not flowered this one yet...this is actually my first plant that showed such detailed preflowers this early...I just wanted a second opinion..cuz i dont want to flower her..im going to maker her my mom...PEACE

You have alternating nodes; not surprising that you have preflowers. Unless you have a long-day strain that flowers in 18/6, no buds will form ... will be fine for a mom.

i am confused? is teh preflower the lil pointy green thing ? i always thought it would have 2 lil hairs behind that instead? i thought that was called a stipule? maybe i am just high but thats what i always thought unless i am missing the white hairs somewhere??

No cant see the sex yet(Technically)But the Pear shape growth he has is where the 2 hairs will come from(as was said)
But if it was a Male
It would not have the Pear shape to begin with(See what i mean?)

The idea is to learn to sex plants by preflower, not sex organ. The little hairs you see are pistils and are like the pubes on a beaver, you want to be able to tell sex before puberty. You could say the "preflower' of a female is not a pistil, its like a teardrop or pear. The preflower for a male is not a nad or a bunch of grapes, its a rough roundish protrusion with a lettucelike appearance

yea that is what i like to do..sex them by preflowers..and then determin male or female, That way I dont have to flower them yet and get a nice healthy mom from seed..but there are always downsides about this...you never know what this plant will do..especially if you have no backround imformation on that particular strain..dont always rely soley on this because it always has a chance of going hermie on ya...in my case i am just trying to get lucky   :D

My vote goes for female. I have seen a female preflower look sort of retarded like that on my last grow...give it a few more days to be sure.
