for MASSIVE Marijuana TREES in ALASKA? Senate Bill 62 was introduced today in the Alaska legislature. These are the license types proposed in the bill.




The bill proposes six license types. That’s more than exist in Colorado or Washington, which have three and four types of commercial licenses, respectively.

In Alaska, the proposed licenses would be:

• Marijuana producers: Grow pot and sell it to a processor or retailer.

• Processors: “Refine, process, cook, manufacture, develop, label and package marijuana and marijuana products," according to the bill.

• Retailers: Buy from producers and processors, and sell to the public.

• Testing facilities: Test, analyze and certify marijuana

• Boutique producers: A producer licensed to grow up to 50 marijuana plants and sell it to a broker.

• Home growers: Those who sell any amount of marijuana from their plants to a broker.

• Brokers: Buy from producers, boutique producers and home growers. They would sell to retailers and processors.


Home grower license
OK you are only allowed to grow 6 plants, 3 of which can be in bloom. You can possess ANY amount of Marijuana from these plants in your home. With a home grower license a broker will come to your home and buy it, if he wants it. Mix in a little legal greed from joe blow homegrower and the natural result is going to be 3 huge fucking trees each run.
I've been talking about this bill today with friends and they all agree this is partly an attempt to fuck the current illegal black market cashcroppers. Things are looking better each day

9 weeks veg between cycles.....EASY Peasy

Only issue is clones....I don't keep mom's and cut clones from existing plants in veg every round....I suppose they could do the same thing

how much a 9 week clone gonna yield ..if you figure 2 weeks rooting leaves 7 for veg... 3 plants flowering is too low a number..well enough for personal anyhow

limits ...imo...the ability to grow perpetual.
perpetual requires planning and planting like three months in advance.
one or two plants a month will not make much medicine, but may maintain your head.

again jmo.

...and this still is better than Washington states fuck-em attitude.

Keep in mind joe blow homegrower will be allowed to purchase plants in veg of ANY size from retailers. No actual need for clones or mothers. After harvest run down and buy 3 more plants that are already 3-4 feet tall to veg, then veg 9 more weeks to a massive height. You are also allowed to be gifted up to 6 plants at a time plants from friends. The way it's being proposed will lead to joe blow homegrower with a license for selling to brokers to growing massive trees. IMO

whats a 3 ft plant gonna sell for ???? you could get by as a personal grower just barely with 3....it would be a cold day in hell I was buying plants to flower tho...fuk em...make your own laws.....yeehaw...some laws should be treated as merely suggestions...like the speed limit ....lol

You know how stuff works If you are legally allowed to have gifted plants in the back of your truck to take home to grow then ways will be found to make it ALL work to your advantage.

Fix the numbers first.

You expect 100 million in revenue and then you get 77 million and then the law says that a certain amount must be paid back to taxpayers because the "new" tax made too much revenue.So you give back 37 million and the tax was 40 million.

You only needed to make 40 million.

so the new tax is ? 1% off medical patients and 15% off for recreation use.

Not counting rooting myself....Until they have roots, they are just a bit of fresh mj drying in the dirt...

And since you will be able to buy or get gifted larger plants.....seems entirely doable.

Depends on if you need more than personal and supplying a few friends...

As for 9 weeks veg.... In my gallery I have a pic of 3 plants under 2k that went 8 weeks veg and I had to hack the girls to get them to fit... So 1 plant per light....do-able with the right strain. Not counting rooting time of course.
