I'm in the process of upgrading some of my equipment and am looking at new fans. I can across a temperature controlled fan and wondered if they are any good? One problem i could see is that in winter they might not exhaust enough air to keep enough fresh air coming in
Also looking at separate temp controller and fan, in case either shits itself on the combined unit. Are all fans made to be slowed down and sped up this way? If i just got a generic centrifugal fan and hooked up a temperature controller could this drastically shorten the life of said fan?
