Are Private Messages Really Private?

Just wondering if anyone in Admin or mods can see them.
I know the government is probably reading them, but what about mere mortals?

we have no access to pms, but people do report pms and when they do that we can see the reported pm. for the rest pms are private. no one is looking at anyone's pms, no one has that permissions required, except maybe the web master.

as for the rols crew, there is more to that story than you might realize, but believe you me, no site would allow members to solicit other members and/or money for a new site.

this website is hosted in a NON-US territory.... thus not supplying unclesam w/ ANY info....
not even a peek or 2.... ICMAG gives up nothing to the info-bot's.......

We only respond to reports, which can include a PM.

Have you NEVER seen the "report pm" button on every PM?

So yes if a PM is reported, mods can then see it.

And if the PM contains SPAM, all similar PMs can be deleted automatically using filters.

So go ahead and solicit, trade or do deals thru PMs, and when they get reported YOU WILL BE BANNED PERMANENTLY from icmag.

That is for the protection of ALL, which some people don't understand.

BUT DON'T COME HERE AND LIE ABOUT what we do, cause that will get you banned too.
