Are my plants done?

My ScrOG is 7.5 weeks into flowering and for the past 1.5 weeks the buds have not gotten any larger and the leaves have remained very yellow.

I haven't changed anything and temps have remained virtually identical. I've been watering with Lucas formula.

I'd trim them, pull out the UV-B lights, reduce watering to 1 or 2 times a week, and let them go another month. Not for the calyxes to grow (which they might), but to mature the trichomes.

Yeah the Calyxes will generally get darker.

You'll want a jeweler's loop or something similar to look at the trichomes. Some people like 50% clear 50% amber trichomes, others may like higher percentage of darker/amber colored trichomes. If you harvest while all trichomes are still clear and slim, the high isn't worth a fuq, in my opinion.

Also the last couple weeks of growing you'll want to water with plain water. Maybe water with 1-2 tablespoons of molasses(blackstrap) per gallon of water.

Best to keep a log or have a good memory to use as a guideline for your next grows.

I'd guess you have another 1-3 weeks before they're ready to harvest.

The plant in the thumbnail is 9 weeks along. The leaves began yellowing slightly at 6 weeks, about the same as yours. As can be seen at nine weeks the leaves are still yellowing and the buds are still getting denser even though the size growth is slowing.

Trichomes are almost entirely cloudy, amber is still almost nonexistent. This being the third harvest of this clone I know the plant should be done in 10 to 12 days and is getting plain water now.

That's one fat mama, Phaeton. Trichome color is a matter of personal preference. I like about 10% amber. I agree with Taz about the UV-B. Take buds each week for 3 weeks, and see what you like best. Good luck. -granger

From my experience, results after 9 weeks are very minimal at best.

You guys really think they need 12 weeks?

Under a loupe, the trichomes are mostly cloudy. My personal preference is 100% cloudy (no amber), but obviously I want the thickest buds possible.

As for the watering - you're saying I should limit watering even further, even though the plants are yellowing?
