I got two lights up. one is 1000 watt the other is 600 watt. the leaves seem to turnin ligh ter in color. I'll post pics of how they used to look and how they look now
the first picture is the comparison of color. I didn't use flash cus they look like same color wit flash on
weird... second is of grow room n example of how high lights are from plants. 3rd pic is a close up of how the buds look like from the plant wit lighter color leaves. notice how I used flash n the color doesn't look light green at all but in reality is kinda is. my plants are on its 25 day or 24th day of 12/12
doesn't one leave look a different green? they were both the same color. the one that is lighter green is the one directly under the lights. the darker one which has stayed the same dark green throughout the whole grow was more to the side of the light.. they are both thc bomb
Lights look a little high to me. I usually try to keep 1000w about 3ft above canopy. Everyone has a different method. I also use metal halide through flowering. I notice it helps the plants stay green further into flowering.
There are a bunch of different things that can cause early yellowing, but I don't think its because your lights are to high. They look to be getting plenty of light. If you put the lights down to low they might yellow even faster.
There can be 2 problems from lights. First is heat at canopy level. Should not be above 86F. You can also get light bleaching, from too many lumens. Here is a chart -
