Hello everyone, NKOTB so please give me some advice,
Need consultation with advanced growers about lighting.
1. Anyone have some experience with AQUA GLO light tubes by HAGEN link - http://www.hagen.com/uk/aquatic/product.cfm?CAT=1&SUBCAT=112&PROD_ID=01015830031001
They looks like best alternative for expensive to buy and run HID, light spectrum sounds perfect for our use, cost to buy-fit-run is much lower then HID - light spectrum and distribution perfect ( long tubes are much better to light medium size box).
2. Found that idea after fitting them in my customer aquarium ( he was away for 5 days and when he back plants was twice bigger and all glass green so I was in troubles)
3.!!!! Any experience with them with cannabis?
Gonna replace my 3x sylvania MH lights witch are feeding my small babes - 3 week old Kilimanjaro plants.
I have an idea to mix them with PHILIPS TL-D Super 80 code 865 so output spectrum is 6500k cause that ones have bit different light temperature.
All that tubes are 18W and 60cm long so all together will be 108W to run and about (AQUA GLO x3 = 54000lumens Philips x3 = 12000) 66000lumens
My box is 120/90/60cm and will go with 3xAQUA GLO + 3x Philips like in post.
Also please tell if I will have to change them for FLO time (off course if they are good for VEG or for anything)
AQUA GLO is around 14E/each on ebay and PHILLIPS i`ve got locally for 2.1E/each
