Question for those who are experienced in the below:

In terms of 'lung room' and possibility, lets just say one were to put up the white panda film (commonly used in grow rooms) in a bedroom of a 10x10 bottom floor apt and covered the 1 window and the rest of the entire room using duct tape. Recycled air, portable AC (oh i dont know, say 9-12k btu), 3 1k's, cool tubes (does it even matter at this point?) with sog using a 6" can fan charcoal filter.

Is this doable you think? Any reason for security issues such as burglary bandits? Oh and i want to mention its medical and in a county as level-minded as humboldt.

Only reason i'm asking is b/c SWIM asked this and all i had to say is "i dont even know who you are dude, you're asking the wrong person."

You cant just recycle a portable AC,it has an exhaust hose with hot air that has to go out the window or up in the attic.I use a window AC in an illegal situation,why would he want to tape his window up with duct tape and use a portable like an outlaw lol?If he's worried about security a window AC is more effective cheaper and doesnt scream growroom

Not when one is using an air conditioning when everyone else is using heat at all times, all through the year. This is the major concern. Weather doesn't permit an air conditioner so no one has them. What is the best way to get the cool air at this point in a 10x10 recycled, panda-filmed up, closed off from the outside,... world?

Well if its so cold outside, then pull air from outside and vent into your apartment.

I would much rather be on a top floor... but ok.

Get a 747 cfm 8" fan for your 3 hoods, then get something in the 400-800cfm range on a computer, it'll kick on if temps get to a preset limit. You wont need an AC, if its as cold as you let on to be you'll have no problems with temps. Run the bloom cycle at night, so the air your pulling is at its coldest.

I would just panda film the entire room, have a vaportech in your hallway, and some a carbon scrubber running in the room 24/7. Also, pond liner the floor, so if you have any accidents its not a problem. Close off the window with a piece of MDF (medium density fiber board) to help with the noises.

Growing is not cheap, it seems you'll need 3 different fans. Fortunately for you, you'll only need 2 filters.

Got the fans and vaportech. No worries there. How would you pull air from the outside if you want to hold back from putting a window a/c on the window and instead cover it up with the MDF?

I typically dont like to take action unless its thought out. Hence my reason for asking here on IC

Well, you would screw a piece of MDF over your window, after having cut the appropriate sized holes in it.

Before hand, you would get some semi-see threw cloth and staple it around the window and leave the blinds down. You would also ajar the window open, permanently, with some screws in place to keep it from being opened more from the outside.

I would also use silicon sealant in between the MDF and window.

Ducting would cover at light, the semi see threw cloth would make it very hard to even see the wood.

Got it ! So ready to make this happen in a few weeks. Oh the possibilities of using an entire room vs a 4x4. Will be nice to have a full 10x10 perpetual. Just have check out how the new neighbors will be and if there is reason to feel like i have security issues, i will just use the 4x4 hut. If not, then its on to breeding for beginners
