Apparently, I've never smoked Sativas...

Hey,

Ive been smoking for the past 7 years... and from what I understand about sativas, Ive never truly smoked any. I live in a swag/dirtweed town, so KB/nug doesn't come around very often. At all. I have a hook-up a few towns away, however, that I go to once every couple of months. Ive also had various "danks" that just pop up here and there. But anyway, Ive been lead to believe that Indicas are dense buds and give couchlock highs, and sativas are fluffier, and give "energetic" highs. I have smoked both dense and fluffy KB-quality buds. But, I do not believe I have EVER felt this "energetic" high that I hear about. I was really fuckin' stoned, Ill give it that much, but Its always felt like the same couchlock stone. So, have I been wrong in my beliefs on the dense/fluffy thing? Perhaps indicas produce fluffy buds as well? Either Ive never had a sativa, or I just dont recognize an "energetic" high when I get one.. Comments? Peace.

I smoked some sativa, it was very long thin buds with lots of leaf compared to bud. Honestly I thought it was shitty bud until I puffed some, DAMN I was so high, I saw shit. Also had plenty of energy - I wanted to run around and dance.
It was some serious shit for sure, not sure of the strain though :-(

I've also smoked some pure indicas and they will lay you the fuck out. 5 minutes and your sleeping like a baby.

Try growing out some haze, that'll give you a good sativa taste

by the way, "fluffy" nugs don't mean sativa for sure, it could very likely be the growing method (floros instead of a strong hps will give you fluffier nugs regardless of the strain), get a 1000w hps, and the right nutes and it'll be dense as hell

I remember my first pure sativa experience. I got paranoid, giggly, sweaty, couldn't find enough to do, and threw up the remainder of a 12" meatball sub, all while trying to convince my boss and customers that I was perfectly fine.

The pure indica trip, I was asleep in like an hour and a half. Best sleep I've ever had though.

I try to stick with a good 50/50 mix, seems to work the best for me.

yeah some sativas will really wire you up, some will just buzz you a bit. They vary a whole lot. Some can put you in to total corner huggin 'noia while others will get you bouncing around or humping up against something/one...

I had corner dwellers and I have had vigara in a cone but I have also had some mix where it was kind of buzzy but mostly couch.

When I was in my teens most of the stuff you got was sativa but it was buch budz mostly. Lots of trippy visuals and racey heartbeat stuff... you learn tricks to mellow yourself out very quickly on thats stuff.

Now the stuff around here is at best a sativa/indica cross. Still ok smoke but not gonna be a party. I have a heap of sativa's I want to grow but without the room and time to finish flower properly I have been sticking to indica/sativa crosses...hopefully with a more sativa edge.

i agree, most brick bagseed is sativa(do we live in the same town)
grow it out and you will shit how good it is.
its the way its cured,stored,shipped,compressed,being old,all this take away
from all the gr8 sativaness of swag, it degrades the thc into other cannabanoids(i learned from reading countless threads on bagseed,mexican)
use the search and grow some bagseed and you will be completely blown away,use containers if you have early frosts so you can bring them in if it freezes.

on the other hand,im not sure if ive ever smoke a pure indica,
some swag are very good hybrids also.

MTF is NOT sativa. lol.

The Mexi seeds can grow out to something good, but the brick you get in the US tends to be moldy as hell. I even had a seizure off moldy Mexican schwag about 10 years ago. Not pleasant.
