Hello folks. Here are a few snapshots of what's brewing in the garden right now.

These are grown with Pro-Mix potting medium, and the only organics added to this mix is Fox Farm's Peace of Mind for Acid-loving plants.

This is a 6-4-4 fertilizer with humic acids and natural microorganisms that activate in the soil, helping to deliver increased nutrition to plants. With these organisms in place, I can feed Earth Juice organic fertilizers and they will be used more efficiently - as long as the soil stays healthy (i.e. no droughts or overwatering.

We'll probably let these veg for another week or week and a half. They're under 1400 watts of HPS, so they should grow like WEEDS

The first set of pics are the Apollo Mists that Rezdog gave me a year or so ago. They're a cross of Apollo 11 and Kali Mist. With Apollo 11 being the father, I believe. The Apollo smell is evident in the stems already. They're very vigorous so far!

Here's the Big Money. These were sent to me by Lonestar at TRC in an envelope because hey were so fresh that he couldn't bag them yet.

They're a very limited run. As a matter of fact, when I recently asked Lonestar what they were, he couldn't even remember doing them!!! hahaha! Good ole Lonestar! Gotta love em.

So far I'm impressed at the thick, stout structure, and apparent ease of growing indoors. I have NO CLUE what the flowers will be like, but if it comes from TRC, it comes packed with resin!

Topping technique

Topping technique

Notice how bushy these girls are? That's because they were topped at the 4th internode about 2 weeks ago.

Topping is simply removing the top growth shoot. This causes a proliferation of growth in the lower branches, and causes many new branches too

These two photos illustrate the results of the topping we did two weeks ago. If we hadn't topped them, they'd still have that classic christmas tree shape.

More Big Money.

I have a good feeling about this one. So short and bushy, and it seems REALLY easy to grow. It's been fine with the small amount of nutes it's getting, while the other strains - getting the same treatment - are already showing signs of needing more nitrogen.

Being so short and squat, I'll veg this one out nice and big, throw it in a 5 gallon bucket and go ballistic with her  This is an indoor gardener's dream so far! And I should know! :joint:

Sweet CC, I am looking forward to your experience with Apollo Mist. It is in the depository and I am eager to try them after such an experienced grower has a whirl.
Big money sounds interesting too.

NoS, dude, I've had so many amazing seeds from amazing breeders come through my door. However, because of space limitations, I can only feasibly try one or 2 new seed varieties every 4-6 months. If - of all those strain options - I chose ApolloMist - you KNOW I expect great things from it!

I grew the Apollo 11 stock that parented these ladies, and let me tell ya!!! If they're grown/dried right, the taste and high are absolutely unforgetable.

I've also smoked the Kali Mist parent. AWESOME. Both of these crossed made me very happy!!! I look forward to a smoke of her :joint: I can smell the Apollo 11 on the stems already. I will be taking clones!!!
