Apollo Mist, Cherry Bomb II, Cannalope Haze, Double Purple Doja

Alright,
I've had this grow in progress for a while without fully documenting it, so I thought it about time to start a proper thread for these beautiful ladies.

Quick Summary of my Setup as of now:
600W Digital HPS, Osram Bulb
400W Coil HPS, Hortilux bulb
Both lights are housed in a Growzilla
The Growzilla is attached to a 4' Hydrofarm Light Track
The Growzilla is cooled by dual 265 CFM cage fans

The plants are in 5 gallon pots of Happy Frog soil, with 10% Coco Fiber added.
The bottom Inch of the pots are a layer of Hydroton clay pellets

The plants have been under 12/12 for 18 days (before and after 12/12 shots)





There are 3 Apollo Mists, 2 Cherry Bomb II's, 3 Double Purple Doja's, and 1 Cannalope Haze.

What is the coco for? Do you like the hydroton in the bottom of the pots?

When I bought the Happy Frog the store owner gave me some sample packs of some Bio-Bizz Cocofiber soil additive. He said he has seen good results in soil that has extra Coco b/c of the added aeration. I thought I'd give it a try but at 10% it shouldnt change things too much.

I put the Hydroton in the bottom of the pot b/c I had an extra bag sitting around and the holes in the bottom of the pot are quite large and I was worried about soil running out with the runnoff water. So far I have had great drainage!

excellent!!! I have heard of people adding it for drainage, however I use the weight of the pots to help determine if the plants need water or not. I tried using the hydroton in the bottom, but it threw the weight off too much. It does work tho
Let us know how you like using the coco. Have you used the HF without it? take care foxy

Now that I think about it, only the final transplant to the 5 gallon pots had the Coco in it. Before than I was using just straight HF.

Just to add.... I have been fertilizing for the last 2 weeks with some Bio Bizz Bloom and Fox Farm Big Bloom. During Veg I was using PBP Grow and FF Grow Big. When I flipped the lights to 12/12, I applied 10ml/gallon of BUSHMASTER. Although this gave them a little burn, it has DEFINITELY helped keep the plants within my hieght limits. Next watering will be with 2 TSP/Gallon BUDSWELL and 10ml/Gallon Liquid Karma.

Fernandro: Isn't CB II the shit?? Last time I had just 1 female, the kush pheno, and although it turned out very nice, its the Maui Wowie that I'm looking for . From what I hear this girl will probably take 12 weeks to flower, a little long but I am sure it will be worth it.

Sunny's pics of Apollo Mist have really inspired me, I have HIGH hopes for these girls. The DPD and Cannalope Haze are more of an Unknown . There could be some keepers lurking around tho. Especially a purple sativa with good quality high.

plants look very well taken care of ......yummy! I have 25 cherry bomb seeds waiting for me to give them some attention.How many phenos of CB II did you find just the kush and maui ??? can't wait to hear how they smoke.....I have read from reeferman that CBII is an indica cherry pheno from the west that met up with the cherry candy sativa from Mr. greengenes............looks to be an awsome plant .

I only had 12 CB II seeds. I dropped 5 and only got 1 female, which was some sort of Kush pheno. The second round i dropped the final 7 and got 2 females, 1 that looks to have Indica dominance and one that has Sativa dominance. The Indica pheno looks similar to my last CB, but I will tell you at the end of flowering if it is the same pheno. I really like the Sativa pheno because it has the skinny sativa leaves and is very branchy, but also has stayed short and avoided any legginess. I would LOVE to see a photo of Mr Greengenes original Cherry Sativa.

I just re-arranged the plants to give dominance to the Apollos and the Sativa Cherry Bomb. Already the Apollos are starting to show trichs on their o-so-skinny fan leaves .

Week 3 12/12

Yo yo,
After three weeks of 12/12 the plants have already started accumulating resin on their buds and leaves, the Sativa-heavy plants especially. Its funny cuz when I think "hash plant" I think Indica, but these guys are showing a lot of sticky leaves. Especially the Apollo Mist.

Anyways, I should let the pictures speak for themselves.

Did you apply bushmaster to all the plants? Can you notice any differences w/ and w/out it?

Yes I did apply Bushmaster to all plants. I am working with limited height and was worried that some of the more Sativa girls would out-grow my space. I decided to give all plants the Bushmaster because I hear it also speeds up the transition into flowering. As far as I can tell, the product worked very well. I applied it at a little less than 10ml/gallon. It ended up causing some slight burn, but within a week the plants had become denser than any of my previous grows. I would have liked to do a side-by-side comparison with clones, but I didnt have any clones ready at the time. Next round tho I will definitely do some sort of comparative study.

I just orderd the 2nd part of this supplement line, the Gravity Flower Hardener. It says to apply once 3 weeks before the end of flowering. Has anyone had experience with this product? I thought I'd give it a shot, looking forward to the results.

The plants are already so sticky, I can only imagine how things will looks once they start to fatten up. Overall, I'd say the success of this grow is not b/c of special Humboldt nutrients, but b/c of the addition of the 600W digital ballast, with Osram bulb, combined with the 400W Hortilux the two put out a very wide and complete spectrum, oh and of course, b/c of these awesome genetics.... THANKS REZ, SUNYCHEEBA, REEEFERMAN, AND DNA I know I've said some harsh things about DNA, and although their techniques may be haphazard, I cant deny the beauty of this plant.
