Word, and thanks for keeping the info flowing guys. This thread would be nothing without the great info you guys are contributing.

pterosaur, thanks for dropping by. Did you read through the thread? There's already a lot of info on what you're talking about. Check it out.

guerilla1018, thanks a lot man, that's a real compliment and I'm honored. This is only my second grow so I've screwed a few things up. I'm having a hard time with feedings. I think I'm a little overzealous and I've burned the plants a bit as well as deprived them of nitrogen. I'm doing a little planning ahead for my next grow. I have access to good compost and am thinking of going organic with very few feedings. I'll see how it goes. And as far as Apollo 13 goes, I thought I remembered seeing an A13 cross on Dr.Chronic's site recently. It's not there now but it definitely caught my eye when I saw it.

BeAn, thanks so much man! I'm glad the thread has turned into more than eye candy though.. everybody could use a little history lesson haha. :joint:

I took a look at the 3 Apollo's trich's yesterday and to my surprise was seeing a few amber! Less than 5% though I would estimate. They could probably come down at 45 but I will let them go to at least 49 or 50... and maybe even 55 for that super potency. I like the idea of letting a plant which produces a heady high go to the full couchlock potential... seems like the resulting high would have it all! lol.

They just keep packing on the weight... especially the AngelDusts. GrowDoc did a great job with them but I'm seeing 3 distinct phenos in 3 plants. The first is the one that's pictured.. super fat chunky nugs, pretty good calyx/leaf ratio and decent trich coverage. The second is in the back-right and has more spear shaped nugs with noticeably smaller calyx's. Also, the hairs are tiny tiny and it almost looks like ALL calyx's haha. Yield looks slightly smaller at the moment but I think they will fatten up quite a bit in the next 30 days. The third pheno is definitely leafier... in the buds. It is also pretty airy like a sativa. But the airy spaces are being filled in as it matures and I'm sure it will end up being fairly dense. This one seems to be the frostiest of the AngelDusts but doesn't even come close to the Apollo's!

With the Apollo's I've seen basically 2 phenos in 3 plants. The first is SUPER frosty and dense and has a great yield. The plant was topped multiple times but somehow one lower branch surpassed the rest and has formed a giant main cola. Unfortunately the rest of the branches are a good 10" shorter and are just forming little nugs. This is a candidate for SOG methinks. The second pheno would probably be perfect for a SCROG as each of the branches is forming a similar sized cola. Apollo 4 is a perfect example with about 7 or 8 tops that looks virtually the same. This one is damn frosty as well.

Aight peace!

Very nice little thread here, beautiful plants all around.

Anybody grown/ smoked Joey Weed's Blue Apollo (Apollo 11 X DJ's Blueberry)? What kind of phenos would you guys expect in this cross?

Aaah, finally my cuts root...took over four weeks but they made it after all...this pheno seems to be really hard to clone :chin: but I did it like I promised earlier :D

Hey BG, thanks for stopping by again. It's going pretty good.. seems like every other post in this thread is mine haha. I'm sure things will get interesting again in a week or two when I've got some final harvest pics and dry pics to show. Right now I'm playing the waiting game. It's day 42 and the Apollo's have another good week. I'm about to water them right now, plain ph'd tap water.

Glad to hear your clones finally rooted. All mine rooted within like 7 or 8 days once I dialed in the bubble cloner a bit (first try at cloning, lol). They were in there for like 14-16 days but it wasn't until I added a humidity dome that anything happened.

Off to tend to the garden.

Peace

Damn dyren, roots in 8 days with a bubbler? Maybe it just wasnt my thing, used to take me a month or more for some strains in m,ine.

Anyways, be [patient bro, the end is near ;) Im sure your gonna love the smoke, maybe even let her go 56-60 if you want a little more body (Im probably gonna let mine go at least 60 in soil, hopefully no edge). Either way though it should be grade A+ for sure. Best of luck on the POTM, Im not sure if you made the final 10, but it is a fantastic shot none the less, one of the largest a11 colas Ive seen in awhile.

Take care and stay safe, heres to a great harvest :smoke:

Guerilla, thanks again man so much, I really appreciate the words of kindness. Be good and be safe. :joint:  :joint:

So I've been checking trichs every couple days and I'm seeing plenty of amber for 43 days (5-15% on the plants) and lots of cloudy so I decided to harvest a single branch from Apollo 4 (which smelt like grapes and now has this obnoxious but oh so delicious funk undertone comin' in). The plant has about 7 main branches with similar sized buds on each. It's probably one of the better plants out of the six as some of the others have one or two main branches and lots of smaller ones that compete for light and space.

I was forced to harvest one of those tiny branches from Apollo 3 cause it got bent and broke off. The smoke was DAMN good from that Day 40-41 sample. The whole branch I took is from day 43 and looks ready. I like a considerably heady racy high so I will harvest a few more at different times and compare. The Apollo 4 is sticky as hell and it would be tight if I could run it for only 43 days and get some good ass smoke out of it. I realize though that I should let most of them go 50-55 but it's so hard to wait! If I had a perpetual going with a 43 day flowering period, that would be sick.

Alright peace out.

Holy shit duren, I never thought they would be 10% ambre at 42 days :yoinks: forhet what IU said then, I know this girl is an early one but that is insane. A quick smokme will give you a good idea of time left, nice one, let us know how she smokes at 42 as well, this may be a shart season dream :D If mine is even done at 50 then shes headed outside ;) A perpetual with a11 folr 45 days woulsd be rediculous, you could pulla qp a week with times like that :joint:

Heres to a happy harvest :smoke:

here's a thread with some pics of one of my small A11 plants..

http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=35033

This is a cut selected from original Bro Grim stock from a good friend of mine a few yrs ago..

I jus cut another one down a couple days ago, she was done at 43 days guerilla.. hydro and Co2 40 days is totaly doable.. She finishes jus like my C99 F3s, 40-45 depending on tastes.. altho I do know that my friend likes to run her to 50, but he runs everything a bit longer than I do usualy..

gotta love her, she's a nice one, and the chicks dig her

hmmm....thanks for the info bean , like I said I knew they were quick, but I didnt know how quick. I woulda figured at least 50 in soil, 45 in hydro, but dyren is in soil :chin: sounds good to me though. Crazy that a supposed jack hybrid is such an early finisher.

Hey bean , did you end up keeping her around?

Time to get the a11 girls rollin :joint:
