Anyone using the AC/DE reflectors?

I'm somewhat invested in air cooling so I'd like to switch to double ended using these.

There's like 3 people on craigslist right now selling big lots of them barely used. Makes me think there's something wrong with them.

How do they work for you? Do they remove as much heat as single ended reflectors?

they work great.. but people realized that they could just run DE;s open and have AC and shit.. not have to worry about it..

my boy runs 4 1000s DEs in AC/DE hoods.. I wish I could get them cheap id be switching over my entire 6000w into DE's I just don't have space height wise to make it work without using air cooled hoods on DE's

also.. if they are knock offs that might be why.. u don't want air being pulled over the DE bulb as it fucks with the spectrum and shit.. so the AC DE hoods that allow air to be taken out without fucking with the spectrum too much makes these work great for Gavitas and so on and so forth

I'm running a couple 1000 watt DE/AC hoods. They need to be 2 to 3 feet above the canopy.
