jaytime, don't follow the label. I don't know how you are feeding, but in my setup I do not exceed 15ml/gallon for indicas and 10ml/gallon for sativas in full flower and I bottom feed coco.
I do like the brand, but I must admit that I have not tried any others. I use PBP because of the great reports I have read on this and other sites.
There are tons of threads w/ formulas if you search around. Good luck!
Yup, like everyone has said here never listen to the label, this goes for all nutes that is not cannabis specific.
A good feeding to go by is how big the plant is and what soil mixture you are in or how much ppms and such if you are hydro......
If you have fairly rich soil you won't need much food......
normally you want to wait around 20 to 25 days before feeding if they are in rich soil.... but don't use seedlings in rich soil or you have a higher probability of burning them......
If not in a rich soil, wait untill after your plants are 2 weeks of age to feed.....
Normally you want to start at 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water for first feeding.....
2nd feeding go to 1 tsp per gallon..... but again you always go by the size of the plant.... bigger plants need more food......
I used PBP in a recent small grow in perlite-vermiculite/reservoir/'hempy' buckets. Initially I mixed the nutes full-strength, but saw nute burn after a few weeks. After that it was mostly half-strength mixes, with a little PH-Down added to get down to about 6.0 PH.
The plants were happy enough with the lighter feeding, and I never added any other supplements. Maybe not the best yield (about 0.35 g/watt), but I wasn't aiming for max yield, just easy growing...
thank 4 all the new info im thinking i need to change my water in my resv now cuz i had the ph to high so i had a twisting of the leaves & i saw i was mistaken on how high my ph was suppose to be...so when i figured this out it was time to start feeding so i went by the directions......guess ill be changing my water i grew once before & did very well i dont do the ppm yet im still learning cuz its been 5 years since my first grow...
Yeah, I used it once in the past and didn't really like it. It seemed to produce a healthy plant and nice tasting product....but there was too much settling in the nutrient mixture. I would do hand watering and would make a 5 to 10 gallon batches to water with and I would notice there would be particles settleing on the bottom within minutes and i would have to constantly stir the mixture.
Is this also a problem for people that use a resevior?? personally I like Flora Nova...but that stuff should also be used at a reduced amount.
