 hi everyone.is anyone using the bloom formula?. i bought both the grow and bloom. -VT- has the grow formula info covered, I was wondering about the bloom. anyone have any info to share? I am thinking about using cns-17 bloom in my coco dwc. i am currently using canna coco a+b, just like the one part idea better. My purple dragon is the test subject.so far i have found she likes it on the light nutes side.i use a hanna combo at .5 so i have been using 500ppm of canna a=b and adding sensi cal/mg and rhizotonic to get 750ppm or 1.5 ec total. i use 10 gallons of ro water and add 2 gallons of tap water in my dwc res. these numbers are for late veg. early on she likes 350 - 500 ppm depending on what stage their at.i will post pics as soon as i download. :joint:

these are mid veg pics by the way. cns-17 bloom or canna a+b :chin:

I'd go with canna, based on VT's description of the taste of his buds -- chemmy and nasty.

really? looks like i missed that bit. it's a surprise though, normally one should be able to flush the coco enough that the plants use up the nutes they still have in the medium and then the reserves of N. not a good sign if the taste stays bad, must be some heavy metals or some shit in there?

can you link me to VT's post on this matter? i missed a lot while i was at the 420. thanks.

i have a grow goin now with cns17 all the way, grow and bloom. plants are 30 days in flower now and they are doin fine. there are 4 strains and you can see some need more and some need less but overall they are all really lookin good. i'll have to get back with you on taste but i have the same strains runnin with my normal gh lucas formula as well to compare with.

maybe it's ok to use it, if you do an extra long flush? or use it only for the first half of 12/12. i mean in the end the plant makes the same thing from the ingredients, what ever form they are in. at least that's what i've read. but i do stop using puremineral addatives like pk at least 3 weeks before harvest, to give the plants plenty of time to convert the minerals into plant matter, sugars, startch etc.

yeah maybe it is ok to use. great advice bro on the stopping of additives so the plant can use its resources. i'm not at all scared to try it. i even think it will work great. i'm gonna do it! i will post some pics later today of current situation so all can get acclimated. :joint:

It was sunleaves coco and cns17. She was pulled about day 63 due to security concerns. She yielded about 17 grams cured under a 45 watt cfl. Definitely not ready, but a heady, earthy and spicy smoke after 3 weeks cure. She would have benefited from PK 13/14 boost, but I have no regrets. CNS17 works great for coco.

And Lynette Morgan is hot.

I also use cns17 bloom as well as grow with now problems, just flush good as always and you will be fine imo, I had zero chemical taste in the dried bud after flushing the last 2 weeks... I love the stuff, the price alone is enough for me to sing its praises.

Yeah, the CNS-17 in coco drain to waste (10%) with Canazym,Rhizotonic and pk 13/14 has been great so far. I am a long time coco freak that has gone the organic tea, Advanced(shity/salty) and primarilly Canna line. The Canna has allways been flawless, but no difference noticed on the switch to CNS line.

I don't use an EC meter, I just let the plants tell me.

Rolling with tap water and a pH of 5.8-6.0, White Widow takes 1 1/4 tsp./gallon at the end of flowering. The Minigun autoflower takes almost 3 tsp./gallon or she looks pale.

Since I grow in coco with feedings almost everyday...I feed a little on the light side. Using tap water I go for an EC of about 1.4.

Cheers,
SH
