ANYONE TRIED LED GROW PANEL PRO 300watt??

going to b purchasing 2 of the 300 watt led grow panel pros from www.sunshine-systems.com wondering if anyone has tried them yet?? and if so can i get a pound off of 1? it says its equivelant to 1000watt hid... cost is 1800 bucks!!!! uses a 1/3 the electric as 1000watt hps!! could b revolutionary here in America where the good old electric company keeps tabs on HIGH ELECTRIC BILLS. if nobody has used them i will b sure to keep u all posted once they arrive in 3 weeks!

If you manage to get over 4 ounce from that light, I will worship your skills

LEDs aren't that great at growing, they can bloom plants but they aren't equal to HID lights. Save your cash or lower your expectation... Alot!

Cheeky bastards... with some huge balls to charge so much for unproven lights. Notice how they don't show any real test grows, only rooms with plants and the light hanging there like it was just put up for the picture.

i get pound all day off a 1000w hps u really dont think a 300watt led will compare? it says its equal 2 a 1500watt hid on the webside 50sq ft coverage area, i will use over 4x4 aerotable 16 plants hoping for the usual oz a plant

You need to be careful about what you read. Yes it can "rival the output of 1000w" but in what? they can compare output of the light anyway they like, and claim it blows away HID in light production.
But what they are not comparing is the yield, the production of the plant when blooming. Plants grown under LEDs grow bigger, but it's the plant streching due to lack of light in the spectrum it's trying to get.

And hey, if you got the cash to blow on it, More power to ya!

lol that light they put in the greenhouse is like 15 feet in the air... and there is just one of em in there, wonder if that is enough light for the whole greenhouse?

I remember reading something on one of the chinese wholesale websites on leds straight from the manufacturer...somethin like 6000 lumens or that figure out there lol

funny how they dont mention lumen outputs on any sites sellin led technology

That's total insanity! I can order a box of 1000 5mm LEDs, a resistor for each, and enough PCB, soldier, etc. to make my own lights and still have spent only half that much! A person would need to be seriously sold on this marketing BS to buy into this in my opinion. No offense to anyone but anyone that pays 1800 dollars for this crap is a sucker.

We tested a couple of different LEDs at the shop, and none of them even compared to t5s, much less HIDs.

Wow thats alot of hard earned on a lighting system that has not alot known about it, I would of seriously reconsidered but then again i guess u did. Wish u all the look with them and i will be intriged to see how they perform
