Guys

Ive started a small cfl grow and im currently vegging four plants in a cardboard box, im planning on building a small cabinet to move them into over the weekend,

My grows wont be that big and I dont want to run a inline fan just some powerful PC fans just wobdering id they have the power to pusg through a small diy scrubber or not.

I was thinking the same thing, off a PSU.
Albeit my design is 3 Yate Loon fans-aligned and siliconed round the squared edge-together(finished with duct tape perhaps).

Centrifugal PC fans should have enough pressure but it all depends on how big the scrubber is. The bigger the scrubber, the smaller the resistance. You can also use several axial fans in series like mjg132 suggests to increase the pressure.

Tbh ,thinking a bit more about my design i'll have to give it a no-no,theres too much static pressure at the centre for them to have any real oomph, a thicker fan at least 140x140x32mm would be better, and if you do decide to put those together you'd have to stagger them,i'd say at least an inch apart, inside a square tube.

I saw a cabinet a while back that had a 1 inch bed of carbon at the top over the light. PC fans were at the top pulling all the air out. At the bottom of the cab were the intake holes. The air would come into the intakes, move though the cab and thus through the bed of carbon, and then exhaust out smelling clean. It was the best air cleaning design i've seen in a cab ever. I think that may do the trick for you.
