Anyone ran sensistar from current seed available?

Since my early days of growing in 90's this strain has eluded me. Bought a pack back in 97 or so but couldn't get a single one to germ along with magnus warlock....anyway curious how current seeds from paradise seeds compare to the legend of sensistar...that burnt rubber, super frosty, super potent 100% indica.

I tried the fem version about three years ago. Good, but not a keeper for me. I would be interested to see if the reg version is better. Not sure if it is even available though.

As have I, but was hoping to hear from people who have grown it both before and recently to judge how it is currently. Far too often I hear EVERYTHING is far from what it use to be and I'm not so sure I believe it

I ran 4 or 5 from a pack of Paradise SS regs about 4 years ago ... still have the rest in the fridge. Good plants, one was a knee buckler with a distinctive, kind of odd flavor. I'd say they're still a good bet. Is it the same as pre 2000? No idea ...

Had a critical sensi star from delicious seeds

I do regret not taking cuttings but I've got a few left in the fridge

I wonder if they even still make reg seeds, can't find them everywhere but fems available at most

Have a friend running a recent pack from last year. He found a very excellent mom out of pack and is very happy, knockout bud.

I can't answer specifically about the sensistar. Ran it back in the day and it was amazing. Haven't tried it recently though.

But, as for that everything not being the same part, I am really starting to believe that might be true.
Either I just lost my touch or seeds aren't what they used to be. Back in the late 90's and early 2000's it seemed like I would find gold all the time. There were a lot of good tasty strains available and it was easy to find keepers from a pack or two of random different breeders.
Now I have trouble finding even one keeper from a pack... Lots of strains like to throw those little yellow bananas too.

Bought a pack 10 years ago, regs. Found one of the 4 females that gave me a heavy wave of euphoria. Crossed the cut with the 1 male, but none of the f1's were the same. Wish I'd selfed it, but 10 years ago I didn't know fems from Shinola. Don't know about today's seed. Good luck. -granger

I've been wondering the same thing. I remember Sensi Star used to have a huge following long ago - the knockout stone was basically unrivaled. Many people chose this strain for its heavy couchlock effects, plus thick, dense buds that were always good size. It seems like a great choice for those seeking a killer indica. Has anyone tried it back around 2000 to compare?
