Anyone know what would cause a smokey flavor?

Hi everyone,

Dont know what would cause this, but I just harvested two different strains and both have a smokey flavor to them, almost like a campfire. I know that sounds crazy, but my girl noticed the same flavor even before I said anything. Even the inside of the bong smells like a campfire after smoking a bowl through it. I havent done anything different than previous grows with nutes or anything. I did have to bring a dehumidifier into tent though, dont know if that would have any effect.

Thats a new one. My only thought is either bbq or cooking stuff near your curing wares. Maybe use some molasses or carbs in your next run. Best of luck finding the reason and as long as it still works right!NS

Don't ask me how I know, but a big chunk of timber(stem) will sometimes make a bowl taste and smell like a campfire.

Maybe its a flavor of a hardwood rather then a smokey flavor, IDK.. Maybe something You added?
