Anyone know what these bugs are?

Hi guys,

so I think I know what these are but not 100 percent. Can anyone identify these little guys? My 5 gallon pots have thousands of them. Also how did I get them and what harm will they cause if any. I’m 6 weeks into flower and just noticed them. Thanks!

Nothing to worry about. Very simply put, soil mites are beneficial arthropods (related to spiders and ticks) performing the very important task of helping breakdown organic matter such as leaf litter, fungus, algae, and other naturally occurring substances in the soil. google

They look like springtail larvae, possibly. They are composters and are considered beneficial.

Ok cool. Springtails are what I thought. And yeah I used a microscope that hooks up to your phone. I got it from Amazon. Good to know they don’t do any harm because there might even be millions of these in my coco
