Anyone in the Okanagan Lake area?

I have left White Rock behind and find myself in Summerland.

Are there any fast finishing Canadian classics I should keep my eye out for?

Seems like outdoor should be going in now, right?

Thx

Sorry eh but I grow indoors and not in the summer heat issues.

There are lots of great strains to choose from just choose an auto flowering plant ore one that finishes in 8 or less weeks.

You can start planting your seedlings outside if your down by the lake however if you live on the side of the mountain like most of Summerland its a little early unless you cover them at night.

get yourself some Chunk D Hashplant (selectively Bred F3 of Dr Atomic NL5 x Tom Hill Deep Chunk)
it was bred outdoor/greenhouse at 52N in the cariboo chilcotin , few hrs north of you.
Up here it needs a heated greenhouse to take it full term but down in summerland you could probably pull it off. Mold resistant and very thick hearty stemmed plants that don't need tying up or netting.
the seeds are at one of the popular east coast US seed banks

Even more on the online BC cannabis stores:

In Trout Creek, not Summerland proper.

Tom, that sounds awesome. I will see if I can find a couple teens or mothers.

Thx everyone.

I might get my stuff together next season and greenhouse finish indoor starts with light dep.

I am waiting on this property market to figure out which way it is going. Next stop Comox/Courtenay. I miss the rainforest. Trout Creek is pretty awesome but I wish I was on the other side in Naramata.

I'm a bit late, but green crack is a classic outdoor strain that finishes fast. As long as it's not rainy at the end of the season you have one of the best outdoor growing environments in Canada!

The okanagan is hit and miss outdoors. On a good year you can have amazing results. Last year was the worst season in many years. Forest fires can be a problem as well. Best of luck.
Keep an eye out for Tea Cup or Apricot Kush

greenhouse is rockin at 52N..... cariboo strong !

tea cup and land cruiser were staples here in the outdoor mountain grows around the cariboo but when outdoor prices crashed those cuts became hard to get from the clone houses that were keeping the mothers. I'm sure they are out there to be had but I dunno where.

I saw the strain for sale in Vic a couple years ago but that's the last time I saw it actually. It's true, outdoor is getting more and more undesirable here. I still love some good sun grown but more when it's mine
