I'm trying to get info about what he says in regards to co2 enrichment in late flower affecting smell and potency. Also anything about corresponding drops in temps and how/why if the plants just ignore the excess,it affects them negatively?I really need to get to the bottom of this.I've experienced the smell decrease firsthand, unquestioned.

agreed they are great guides but the stuff thats really gunna make you a great grower is intrinsic eg. getting to know the characterestics and behaviors of your plants to best suit their needs.

jojajico Yup..... these books are a little sketchy and I question how some of the stuff gets past the editors.... but for the most part are a pretty good guide for a beginner, and a lot of conversion, tool, reference, material inside as well as some nice photos.....

Ok, spent some time there looking for anything that suggests to stop using CO2 and I can't find anything along those lines.... Why would you want to stop? I am trying to get a few perpetuals going, and I would have no use to stop supplementing CO2....

in his closet cultivator book, ed says to stop c02 1 week before harvest because there isn't much growing going on and it is possible that the gas will hinder the odor of the plants. that's all he says about it.

does co2 oxidize? I would think that oxygen would be worse for your plants late in flower..... simply for the oxidation..... would it be harmful to cure buds in a jar with co2 gas? I think that's how you'll figure that out... cure some stinky buds in a jar with only co2 gas, and check it in a month and if the cure is still going good then I'd say it's a myth.....

hum ive allways been under the impression the last 2-3 wks is when the plant really fattens up puts 50-60% of it's weight on during this time.

so this insert from his book make no sense at all

why not just do a search on C02 enrighment methods here im sure you'll find the answer many many growers here use C02 from expensive to DYI methods
