I was just curious, since White Widdow is such a popular strain, well was before the sours and the kush's and stuff I was wondering how the Nirvana white widdow, is compared to other white widdow strains... or buds you have tried... Photos/Comments Appreciated :) How does it compare to ak48?

I have grown 8/10 of the white widow seeds i received from nirvana. 3 females of the 8. 2 were very tall sativa that at day 50 appear to have another 40 days to go.

heres the indica pheno i have at day 50. excuse the nuteburn!

I have a killer sativa phenome. She yields like crazy with a intensly strong stone. If you add the right supplements , you can bring out a little flavor. Really intense.
Got 5 freebies and 4 out of 5 girls. Kept the monster. Easy to clone hard to kill. never shows overfert.

Only drawback is lack of taste...compared to some others I have grown. Racy as hell.

My friend got a very nice pheno of WW that grew and kicked like a horse, cloned in 5-6 days, and yeilded like a MOFO.. I kept it around for a while but the flavor was jus too spicey for my tastes.. taste was the only thing it lacked.. and it took 70 days sometimes longer..

this was from Nirvana, and was the sativa pheno, he said the indica phenos were not that impressive..

Do a search of my gallery for White Widow (gallery search is a wicked feature) for some pics..

I just finished up my first Nirvana WW. I had major fert issues and burned the hell out of her with nitrogen and at the same time didn't give her enough phosphorus, so she could have turned out a HELLUVA lot better. Even though the harvest was really small, the bud looks dank as hell! This pheno had purple stems and branches from the get-go, and the buds were turning purple in late flower as well. I think the purple stems are part of the reason I didn't notice P deficieny, which usually shows itself early on with purple stems. Can't turn a purple stem purple!

Anywho, even after a quick dry, I can taste that familiar WW flavor behind the "green" taste. I can't wait for this batch to finish drying and curing. I have about 3 more weeks till this strain is ready to smoke. (3-4 week cure)

Nirvana's White Widow is one strain that I keep going in my garden always. My beans I got a couple of years ago and have I cloned, grow from seed, experimented with veg/flower times, and reveged this strain. I really love this strain.
I only have one lady currently in my garden (cut way back during summer months) and she was pollenated. But I will snap some pictures of her and post them shortly, I have to argue with the others regarding the taste of WW...from my orginal pack I got some nice variances....with a couple of different flavors...one that I have been breeding back to orginal male I have been working on to bring up the aroma....as it smells like lemons...and has a very citrus taste..and has a stone that will knock you on your ass for hours this I think is more on the Indica side of the strain. The other lady that I deemed worthy of profecting has little to no aroma but the taste is earthy to pine. I prefer the stone of that lady better as it has more of the sativa high. That pheno is the one I currently have going. I tend to keep the name of the strain going but for tracking purposes give it the number of the orginal mother so this one is called White Widow 106.

Everyone that has tried this strain either type has came running back for more I usually try to keep a little of each pheno going in the garden for when I want to show off to someone who "claims" to have the best strain. I highly recommend this strain.

As far as growing I am not sure if they have been able to bring the flowering time down yet on the current beans.,..like I said the bean I have I got over a year ago....but mine flower for 70-80 days and have a very hard time dealing with overwatering I have killed many of ladies from a simple oversite in the amount of water I give her. Other then that they are pretty care free.

Here is one picture I just snapped of the only lady I have currently going of the Widow. She has another 2 weeks left...and prolly would of been a lot meatier if I would not of pollentated the heck out of her. As you can see she is busy making seeds instead of buds.

I hope you find as much joy in this strain as I have.
