Anyone familiar with Jerry Berry?

I just got this a couple weeks ago, supposed to be a clone from some Deadheads in Vermont. I just put one into flowering cycle a couple days ago, will post some pics here when it is worthy. It's got some pretty purple stems and smells great already, just can't find any info on her. Anyone had experience with this one? Thanks.

some people think Jerry Berry is a Canadian based outdoor strain called Freezeland or Friesland that comes over the border en masse

Thanks, FT. All I have heard was that it was from some Deadheads in Vermont and that it has been around there for many years. Have you tried the strain before? Likes/dislikes?

Some people I know tried freezeland (from udg--freeze bx'd w/ pluton, incrossed) and said that that it was the jerry berry that they used to get. Another guy who knows his herbs said it wasn't the jerry berry as he remmebered it, that its lacking the berry, and the original Friesland is piney.

On another note, a poster in the M.O.B. (Mother of Berry) thread lists it as being a jerry berry cross. I really can't say as I never smoked Jerry Berry, but it wouldn't surprise me with the stong berry flavors. Crazy Composer did a write up on it, it's linked in the MOB thread. Freeze is done mid to late sept; MOB first to 2nd week in Sept.

It would be interesting to see that Jerry Berry cut grown outdoors. Best of luck with it!

I love Jerry Berries, have seen it almost every fall except this past for the last 10 plus years... Comes from up in VT or maybe over border. Has a piney berry taste, nice tight coated buds that are usually a little dank. It has some purple variation, but only ONE taste... I am not sure the rael strain, but have never gotten seeds. We are the M.O.B. originators...

Ah.... the good old Jerry Berries. The standard of New England outdoor. Reminds me of Burlington.

I never grew out or saw any phenos of the JB, as it was my basic understanding at the time that any outdoor that was fruity, frosty, and cheap; fell into the category of "The Jerry Berry".

If this is not the case, I would love for a chance to grow some out :)

I have a deadhead og pheno. Not too kushy, not too chemmy. Similar to strawberry diesel but with more skunk #1 in the dried flower. Very strawberry that is more creamy with the classic skunk #1 funk in there as well. I've been thinking of calling it the Jerry Berry pheno because the Jerry Berry doesn't seem to exist in the current cannabis world. Honestly, havent heard the name since high school. But this deadhead og pheno is worthy of the name...Doesn't resemble sfv or chem 91 in the finished product. Jerry Berry OG it is!

Ahh yes tales me back. This bud was legit. Hard frost tolerent fucker, quick too, super dense, dark green and bright red hairs. Must have some Dj short genetics because the jb had a very pronounced southeast Asian stone to it, kinda on that endless thought journey. Miss this one. A buddy brought over some white berry bugs from the Susquehanna area that reminded me, there was also this mind fuck stuff that reminded me of the jb. I imagine the pacnw and Hi had something to do with this one I dunno maybe nl5 into blu,Flo,slydrr, juicy fruit?

Have smoked plenty of Jerry Berry in Maine over the years. Canadian bud sent over the border in years past. However there could be a legit cut called Jerry Berry from heads in Vermont. Either way enjoy fam!

The jerry Berry is the same or close to the Freezeland /sssc Friesland strain. A few different crosses of it have been grown around here and brokers who were tired of quantity Canadian jerry berry identified the strain as such.
