You've 'FIM' ed the plant by leaving some shoot growth when you topped.
You can get this to happen everytime, look into 'fuck I missed'.

Yea pretty common if you top much. I used to get that or the "club" thing when I FIMed. It more than likely won't do much except take energy from the other main shoots so Iwould clip it or take it as a clone in a week or so. Plant looks good :tiphat:

I always find topping them out at the base of the plant more productive then any FIM or multiple topping.. Topping is bullshit.. Yield robbing technique..

Multi-steming a plant at the base increases the vigour and widens the cambium layer thus providing more.

Also all the growth is coming from the main central stem at the same point thus giving equal proportions of nutriment and light to the tops. There is no exchange for more light on the tops than bottoms whilst the bottoms have all the food first what can rob's the tops of their potential...

This will increase overall weight at harvest by 1/3 and maybe more if managed we'll.

I can get 20 tops from super cropping and my pruning methods.. 4 tops thats not much use unless the plants are on 30 cm centres I'm talking like tree coppice... Big plants..
