anyone ever put 5 to 6 1ks over a 4x8 totally filled with 4x4' rw cubes?

just wonder if you aircooled the lights had about 5 oscillating fans at hood level if you could do this,would seem to me even low yeilders would produce some nice numbers just based on the par,if this is do able would it be feasible to do it with a plant that stretches a little or would you want to stick strictly with a compact indica? also what kind of spacing and medium would you use
other than the rw cubes?i have only grown in slabs, this setup would most likely have to be a flood and drain with somethng other than slabs? hydroton maybe?also what kind of spacing would be neccasary,would putting them 1 inch apart be ok?

I haven't but that's a little overkill unless you are using CO2 in a sealed room and a more sativa dominant or pure sativa as they would really take advantage of the high lumen saturation.

three 1kw would be plenty of light, anymore I think would be a waste, your plants would be limited by the other growing factors, and btw a low yielding strain is just that, its genetics

heh thats what im trying to figure out if there is such thing as overkill
if you did this with an elite low yeilder i wonder how much you could pull
per watt,good call on going with the taller plant as i guess hopefully
it would produce crazy dense ropes

2k over a 4x4 is probably the max you'd ever want to do, heat would be crazy, cooltubes for sure.
Guys say 2 600w do very well over a 4x4.

At the most 2 1k's. Why not add another table and put 2 more 1k's over it cooled straight through all 4 with a one vortex? What's your room size like? Co2 supplementing would probably do well with 4 1k heat. Even exhausted well. Canopies will still be pretty warm. Sick idea though, 2 4x4 tables, 4 1k's and some co2. Kick ass yeilds, even with a "low" yeilding strain.
