Anyone ever grow Y GRIEGA?

Hi All,
I was looking for a very very potent strain and came accross this strain-Y Griega which is said to be up their in the THC %. I know that isn't everything like how you raise and feed the plant for the final outcome of potentcy, but if the genes are their i would like to get some. i can't find a reputable seed bank that carriers them! Any info about the strain and seedbank is very appreciated

Hiya Smoothy I'm just about ready to cut my first couple of Y greiga's in a couple of weeks. Its been a loong haul waiting but I'm pleased with them. I just wanted a couple to grow in the corners out of the way of my main plants so we got a couple of seeds from this Spanish company : http://en.medicalseeds.net/catalogo/16/

They arrived safe and sound within a couple of days, packaged in a plain bubble wrap envelope complete with a free white widow freebie.
Its an extremely tall leggy strain and it was suggested a short veg period or perfect for scrog.
I started 2 seeds and both germed quickly and I planted into Plagron light soil for a veg period of just a couple of weeks. Very vigorous growers I found so I didn't wait long to put both into flower. Transplanted into Plagrons Batmix (a rich mix) because I wanted to keep it simple with watering and not have an issue with saltbuild up over a long period of feeding.
They bolted in height stretching like a vine on steriods so I supercropped constantly to keep them in line. They barely noticed lol.
I'm going to see if I'll finish them at 12 or 13 weeks, they're having a 2 week flush now and starting to yellow up. Will keep an eye on the trichs to see when to cut. Want to make the long wait worth it.

Can't give you a smoke report sorry thats a ways off yet but they smell great still standing - frosty with decent tight buds even though they've just been in the corner getting minimal light. I'm happy with them and the strength of the strain. Have a new clone coming up and likely will be keeping this line going.

Hey there Smoothy,

I spoke to a fellow at Medical Seeds about this strain, he mentioned it was a strong Sativa, So we talked about how sometimes the really strong strains can make people paranoid. We talked about cannabinoid profiles and how we all experience certain strains differently depending on you biology. He mentioned the Cannabinoid profile of the "Y" Griega is such that it doesn't cause anxiety or Paranoia sometimes associated with heavy THC. So he gave me a gram to sample, very top notch high stoney for the nubes and energetic for the experienced, a good wake and bake strain for sure. and it lasts a while to, eventually tapering into a nice warm feeling in the chest. You should like it a lot.

Interesting how sometimes the best genetics in consistent unbiased reviews online wind up the least talked about. Anyone have anything negative to say about THC-Rocker, Y Griega? Or as one site begs to ask, "Why not?"

What get's me on this strain is the reported dominant Sativa effects with some real punch with good duration. But still lists around 10 week finishing times. And they are at least currently in stock at the Tude as well?

I am sure a lot of strains get hyped up a lot. This one certainly doesn't seem to get any hype at all. Oh well more fun for us I guess.

Y Griega is Amnesia x Kali Mist, a sample of theirs tested at 27% THC in Canna's GC lab at Spannabis, a very "high" figure and from respected people. I too could never work out why it does not get talked about more, a cross of the 2 best Sat dom strains around.

Their 1024 and 2048 get more attention for some reason, friends here who have tried them liked it.
