Anyone else use water cooled co2 burners?

I believe the brand is HydroGen. Mine is great. The heat exchanger removes 80 to 90 per cent of the heat.
The only problem so far is water condensation getting into the batteries, solved by rewiring them outside of the main unit.

Ah.. no their not. not anymore, anyway. If they are, it will be another crime AN committed.
that deal fell through. I been on the phone w Stephen of hydro innovations and he told AN was going to distribute his products. then some shady shit happened where AN tried to contact H-I's manufacture to make them for AN directly, and they were contractually obligated to stephen. Word got back to Stephen and he dropped them from dist.

I'm about to go full blown water cooled and I'm getting a new hydrogen pro with the new external 12v. battery pack & improved ignition system, instead of the 3volt on the old models.

Thats interesting, my local hydro shop has one on the shelf, it's blue and has a big AN sticker on the outer bag.

yes that is interesting. I wonder if they just popped their sticker on what stock they had left from distributing the stuff.

So I guess they fixed the same problem I fixed. The real design nitpick I have with these is that there is no feedback from the state of the burner to the water valve. What happens is that the burner fails to light(for whatever reason), then the water continues to flow through the machine(since it is controlled separately by the Co2 sensor via telephone cord). Since there is no feedback, the water is not shut off and there is no opportunity for it to try to light up again. The water continues to flow(and in Montreal in the winter, tap water is COLD) thus causing intense condensation throughout the machine. Including the battery case. Hence my problem.
You say they have fixed this in a later model?

I think there is a new model and a rebuild kit that changes out the gas sensor, ignition, and 12v battery on older models to upgrade it. Stephen said something about being able to send your older unit in and they will upgrade it to current specs for a small fee and cover shipping one way.

Not stiring the pot but lets get one thing straight the first model hydrogen was a Marey on demand hot water heater with the Marey sticker replaced with one that said hydrogen..
No more no less
The AN model doesnt look anything like the Hydrogen...

I bought the Marey for $180 off ebay 18 month of non stop use has never failed to fire unless it was outa gass or dead batteries

My new water cooled co2 gen is a ecotemp5 that cost me $125 shipped and has not missed a lick in 1 month of use

I totally believe it after seeing it. good to know what the thing really is. I now know I will be saving some money on the burner! thanks bozo!

Isn't technology great? I remember when I started in the early 90s, nobody had even heard of carbon filters!!

yeah I remember when mountain air came out and no one believed anything could actually eat odor.

anyone using these?? just portable tankless water heaters as a burner?? are they getting your ppm high enough??

I am reading about co vs co2. Is that just because they dont feel the need to warn against co2? I dont think my goal is to smother my plants with carbon monoxide... but I am no chemist. Will adequate co2 also be generated??

What size space are you guys running these in??
