Floods in North East of the US.

What are chances of survival of very young plants being submerged for several days and appearing limp and withered afterwards?

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no freaking connects where I live and now this! LOL Making a move out to cali looks more and more convincing every day.

If they are left in soupy mud..it could be grim..but if they are in a sandy..loamy area..you might have a chance..the leaves should bounce back..
the plant needs to dry out and get it's rootsystem going..aeriation holes might help..get O2 to the roots and they might come right back..
Maybe clean the leaves with clean water..
People ship clones around in a sealed baggy filled with water..roots exposed, whole clone is under water..they can easily rebound after being submerged for awhile

ok thanks guys

areas are still soaked and while not totally submerged they are still pretty badly flooded. Only one is standing up (kind of). Others are horizontal with the grasses and weeds around it, all pushed down and worn,

Cannabis does tolorate some flooding. What will really count is how long they are in standing water and how good your drainage is.

As long as they are not in the path of running water, your odds are reasonable... depending on your choice of site.

Its been raining here for the last week on and off, my plants have handled it well though. Only one bad thing is that something, more than likely a deer, took the tops of 2 of my plants.

I think farmers after a flood apply fertilizer to the fields because the nutrients are washed away.

I'm gonna try to stake the 2 that are showing signs of life. see if i can nurse it back

problem was that they were very young

I lost one pound to botrytis (bud rot). I still harvested enough pot to keep me high for quite a while..over a lb. of pure sativa sinsemillia. :)

I had a funny feeling this year about the outdoor and I held off putting them out. I am glad I did b/c my spot was submerged under 2.5 ft of water when I checked it. Its good though b/c the flood seemed to soften the ground up real nice and also I saw it deposited some real nice black soil. They're out not and soaking up all this sunshine we have been getting for the past 2 weeks.

My condolences for the lost plants, better luck next year.

i lost 20 Island Sweet Skunks from Federation my first outdoor grow 6 years ago due to not putting chicken wire around them. Gopher tortoises got some and i think a Armadillos got them some too. oh yea stay away from fish emulsion unless you have a fortress built. i've had wild boar trash chicken wire on one grow lost 5 plants thats when i started hanging bars of soap and chimes from the limbs of trees. bring my cats dirty litter etc.. and snakes and mosquitos out the ass too. survived three Hurricanes last year so i'm not doin to bad i guess
