or any other "super auto"
the ones i grew took close to 2 months to show flowers and 5 months to finish
i crossed them back to a regular auto Himalayan blue diesel and that takes about 55 days from seed to harvest so i am aiming for a hybrid that takes about 100 days from start to finish on any light cycle.
has anyone grown out low ryders for seeds before?
any trusted cultivators out there even curious to try this?

Whoa....5 months to finish? I grew em out last summer. Looking at my date/calendar of notes....SCH finished in 82 and 90 days, first sign of sexing...32 days. Longer than the usual auto, but much larger, as well.

Which LowRyder are you talking about? I've grown several from different breeders. Some are great others just 'meh'.

No.....you are not alone. Being a breeder, we do use some low ryder genetics, have come across a wild ruddy in lower Rocky Mountains we are using for several strains, and other ruderalis hybrid strains to achieve autoflowering crosses.

Hi there, I had two SCHs last season and some Chaze also.
Chopped them somewhere around 140-150 days, could finish faster if they had more sun exposure and better weather in september.
Check for pics in my gallery.

Overall very nice plants with an up-high, I really like my SCH and Chaze, still have some stash:)

Yeah our SCH was in direct S. sun all the time. Wow! 140-150....that's like a photo period!!!
Liked Chaze, too....finished just a tad under SCH. Very nice smoke, indeed!

Yeah, took pretty long to finish but still far less time than photo sativas would.
Besides they had some shocks when transplanting, one chaze was delayed because its taproot broke due to some bacteria or fungus in my soil.

This year I'll probably grow some new superauto strains.

thats amazing! what month did you find the ruderalis growing in CO, was it a male?

did you make any beans with either strain?

No, but found a few seeds of unknown father. I mean like 5 seeds total, some cracked in the grinder, managed to save only 2.
Believe me, I would try many things with my plants but due to stealthy guerrilla style planting I limit myself to harvesting some bud:)
