Anyone Baking Brownies tonight?

G

guest 77721

I'm whipping up a batch of brownies tonight.

Just ground up close to 1/8 of kind bud and have it simmering on the stove in 1/4c each of coconut oil and water.

Last time I made a batch with bud, I couldn't eat anymore than 1/2 a brownie... hee hee... I usually use popcorn and sugar trim.

Woohoo!!!

I use the Quaker Brownie mix that makes 2 batches in 8x8 pans. 1/8 of bud makes an 8x8 pan or 16 2" x2" brownies. I usually take 1/2 a brownie so 1/8 makes up to 32 doses. Each 1/2 brownie is good for a mellow buzz that lasts 3-4 hours and it takes over 6 to come down. If I have a brownie when I get home from work, I'm nice and mellow at bedtime.

I think that you will find that you are wasting good bud that you don't need to use for cooking. I used trim that was first run through a tumbler when I am making butter. I think I will start a new thread soon to explain my methods.

been awhile since I posted, but we got a new "Butter/Oil" making machine and have a batch of brownies ready to go in the oven.

We used the coconut oil method and the machine did an amazing job. 1hr for oil, 2hr for butter. Its a "device specifically designed and engineered for making herbal butters and oils." and made things super simple on me.

I put 8 grams dry ice hash in the 2/3 cup oil for the brownies and simmer for 20 min, then mix it all together and bake. I will have to try it without simmering.

I use the 7 steps method to make the budder. Takes a couple hours, but in a crock pot very simple for me. My recipe calls for 1.25 sticks of butter, I use 3/4 stick regular to 1/2 stick budder.

Works for me.

sure, Sent ya a PM, I didnt know the rules for posting links.

we made some simple sugar cookies today...and another batch of brownies...we have a bit more oil left for a nice milkshake or two. We will go with a bit stronger ratio next time.
