I just was resently gifted a couple of trainwreck clones, and to my surprise they where loaded with little black spots. I think they are mites but these pics are weird.

Try rinsing the clones off with plain water including the undersides of the leaves. This is good prevention anyway.

They are definatley mites I didnt take pictures of them but today I seen many under the microscope and laying eggs, I think im gonna have nightmare's. This allways happens I get some clones and of course there infested with spidermites. O yeah I can see some webbing here and there.

Bummer, but the first two pics arent mites. Heres some of my shots to give you a better idea of the typical two spotted mite. The pale green spots on the leaves are the mite damage.

Hello,

If you use Iso alcohol-besure to rinse them in about 57 minutes- I waited like 10 minutes before I rinsed of the alcohol-my plants were weak and sickly for two weeks and they were nearly lost.

No bugs however.
