Hey there, so I have been putting plants out in growbags flat on the dirt. I have been having an issue with all these little bugs collecting under the bags.
I know exactly why they are doing it. They like the cool moist shade under the bags. As soon as I pull them up, thy scatter under sticks and twigs. So far they havent caused a problem because I am constantly moving the bags around as well as using both organic insect repellent and straight up insecticide.
They keep coming back though. I'll move them around to totally differnent areas and oen or two days later, its just a party under there. I have even tried dumping out the soil, killing some plants, just to start over. Two days later as bad as ever.
I am not overwatering in any sense that i could water any less with out killing the plants. Lately I have been going light and even on waterings and even getting a little wilting if they dont get watered EVERY 24 hours. No water runs out of the bottom into view, but there is the slightest damp pool under each of the plants.
2nd Question: Once these are ready for transplant, is it going to be bad to stick these plants into big holes with bugs on the bottom?
Any advice would be appreciated.
