Anybody found a "taller" 2x4 or similar tent?

worried about headspace for the light, especially if I decide to throw a table in there or use DWC buckets ect. Anybody find anything around this size (or a taller 3x3 for that matter) that they're happy with?

Poked around, but couldn't seem to come up with much. Is it worth looking into just building a custom cab instead? the tents seem so simple to deal with.

Gorilla Grow has two lines of tents. their premium group has 2x4, 3x3, 4x4, and the height is 6'11". the tents also come with a one foot extension kit allowing you to raise the tent height to 7'11" (or even higher with multiple extension kits if you have the ceiling height). If you have a typical ceiling height of 8' however, you may have a problem using the extension. you have to slide the extension piece up over the male end of the frame. to do so, you'd need about three inches and with an 8' ceiling you couldn't do it. i e-mailed them a couple of times to see if it was do-able and someone replied saying it probably wouldn't work

They have a lite line that has 2x4 and 4x4 models with a height of 6'7". they don't come with the one foot attachment but you can buy one for $32. with that approach you could fit it in to an 8' room because you'd peak at 7'7".


Fwiw, i'm not repping GG. i've never used GG tents or anyone's tents yet btw. I have just been looking tents over myself online. To my knowledge, Secret Jardin has height extensions but only for their larger tents, 4x8 and up. If other companies have products above 6'11", i haven't read about them yet
