Anybody Else Love Sriracha?

Z

Ziggaro

I just started seeing this stuff everywhere... Even in TV shows someone will open the fridge and there it is. You can't mistake that green top! My wife abhors the smell, though... I think it's delicious!

It's a hot sauce. I love hot, spicy food but I agree with Ziggaro's wife on this one.

I go through one of those smaller bottles in about a week.

I keep a bottle in the kitchen and one in the living room, in case I can't find one I don't have to panic.

Most of the time if I'm hungry, I look for something I can put sriracha on.

Great stuff, good thing it is still a secret where Im at, always in stock at the grocery store, I know it selfish but oh well. Good on lots of stuff, chicken wing, stir fry, bbq etc.

I had a roommate who had a love affair with the stuff, I myself like the one with the wooden ball on top and the woman on the label, starts with a C

Love it, killer in Pho. My lady puts it on everything.

Buy it at your local Asian market... it's usually much cheaper than a regular supermarket. Pick up some toasted sesame oil while you are at it- put that on your bok choi and eat it!

Dude the sriracha is a must-have for a true connosieur of top-shelf munchies. While nice for sushi and so many other applications, I like it primarily for two things--tacos and bbq sandwiches. With tacos my way is usually shredded beef or chicken with corn shell. 1/3 slice american cheese then meat then veggies then 1 solid line of sriracha all the way across. For bbq I carmelize some onions and bell peppers then add meat, Maull's bbq sauce and a nice circle or sriracha then toss then boil then simmer then cheese of choice melted on top then bread of choice lightly toasted then eat eat eat eat then eat some more. Sriracha is the gravy of the gods.

I knew somebody would know right away. Exactly I think Cholula is the best hot sauce on earth. I can drink it straight from the bottle its so damn good. Its addictive in the same way A1 steak sauce is to me. It triggers some sort of animal response, its that good. Plus shriracha has a really sweet sugary flavor to me, but it is good in some food, plain rice is great.

ye i find with sriracha not every bottle is the same it varies in flavor a little.

cholulla on tacos is dank, also a fried egg with extra old cheddar melted on top then doused in cholula is freakin awesome

I've been to probably 60 vietnamese restaurants and every single one had it right on the tables. Its like the Heinz ketchup of Asia.

A gourmet Moroccan chef (Mourad) put out a book and even he said he puts that shit on everything at home.

You can make asian spicy chicken wings with it too...I'm going with the classic Franks hot sauce for the wings tonight, though.

Good product and dirt cheap.
