Anybody else into extreme metal?

Just thought of asking if any of you Maggers are digging into the extremes of metal music? I've been listening to different kinds of extreme metal bands for a bit over 15 years and find various amazing aspects in such music.

It's definitely not all I listen to, far from it (with a collection of 400+ c-cassettes and double the amount in compact disc). But extreme metal holds a very special place in the music enhanced wanders within the chambers of my mind.

Some of the bands on top of the listening to-list right now:

1349, Watain, Behemoth, Meshuggah, Absu, Origin, Gojira, Akercocke, Burzum's, Beherit's and Mayhem's latest albums, Enochian Crescent, Rotten Sound etc.....

I'm always on the search for new music, so if you find it in your heart, fire away!

Yo cacamal!

cept? Haven't heard...do you mean Accept or Septic Flesh? Sadistic Intent is familiar, yeah.

Christian from Burzum? To my knowledge Varg Vikernes is the sole person behind Burzum (apart from a few session musicians in the beginning). Varg was released on 24 May 2009 on probation.

Rock on!

Is he still rolling with the WP scene? That is awesome he is out...I mean murder then prison escape I thought they would throw him in a hole....Like i said you are probably familiar with all the bands I like/know. Do you listen to the Bursum albums in their order?

The two that come to mind for me are Ministry and Skinny Puppy, but I think they're more industrial metal. I just loved Ministry's "Land of rape and honey" Album. It was so energizing.
