Any way of TESTING a carbon filter to make sure it works ok before you get to flower?

Hello,
as many of you know, i'm running a pc stealth grow. I've recently added (today) some carbon fiber matting and what not in hopes of helping reduce smell when it comes. But is there any way of testing the filter before you get to the flowering stage just to make sure it works? I dont wanna get to flower and have a faulty filter.

So, if you know any way of testing a SMALL SIZE filter please let me know. I"m stumped as of now.

You can hold your breath while you lit up 4 incense sticks place inside and see if you have leaks. Cool thing about it is you can see where it is. :woohoo:

I've always used incense sticks to test it out, although I've never doubted the carbon I put in my filter....it's more for fun than anything!

Hope all goes well :)

b10, have You tested the filter yet? I'm interested in what you decide to use . Your initial uncured silicone test would have done it for me. While designing the filter, did you consider carbon sheets? They might help you save some precious space in your pc box.
