I'm trimming(pain in the ass, but labour of love), and I'm sick of trying to rub/scrape resin off my fingers. Is there anything that works to take it off quickly(i.e. rubbing alcohol, lighter fluid, etc)?
safest to be using around plants would be good ole ISO(rubbing alocohol). keep a bowl of it handy for the scizzors and hands expect to change the bowl between plants.
Last trim I didnt have any iso and it was a very sticky situation but managable
I keep small jars of alcohol around the trimmers so they can wash their fingers and scissors, at the end of trimming I filter it through a few layers of paper towels and voila, ISO hash! It's VERY good. One time I got almost 1oz of oil out of a trimming session.
Use a little bit of peanut butter. Rub it around on your hands, then you can either rinse it off or eat it. Super easy and your fingers will be perfectly clean when you're done.
Latex glove-later you can put them in the freezer and reclaim the finger hash. it'll turn brittle and crack off the gloves fingers.
Spray Pam to remove it from your fingers
Mayonaise lol. I learned from a carpenter to get pine tar off me and my tools. We used the little self serve type packages. It will take off most anything sticky including roofing tar. Iso is pretty hard on your skin and I dont like wearing gloves so much.
