Sulfur burner, dehumidifier and good airflow amongst the plants will take care of it. One of the problems with foliar type sprays is that they inherantly add moisture to the room which is somewhat counter-productive IMO...

What's your RH% at?

BTW, you should remove any affected leaves until you get it under control...

Try one teaspoon baking soda in a gallon of water and spray the affected areas.

This has worked good for me when I had a PM problem before.
The only bummer is if your plants are flowering this may burn the hairs a little.
Mist with clear water after you treat seems like the residue is minimal.
This may work on other kinds of molds too if used early.
But just as a rule of thumb, if I am to spray anything on my plants I try to do it in the early stages of flowering or preferably before flower.

to MTF-Sandman, usually my RH is around 35%~45% but yesterday was DST i forgot to fix my water pump timer so the RH was boost to 55%~60%. I got 2 stanley fan as intake and exhast turn it on to max all the time. i cut down all the infected leaves and dump it when any first sign of PM infected.

probably i will try the baking soda, right now i short on money to get a sulfur burner.

is it a good idea to stop the intake and vent the air in the grow room out then exhast the fresh air in?

I have also been battling powdery mildew. I have tried the baking soda in spray bottle with some success. It leaves a residue which at times can look similar to PM. I have a perpetual thing going on and I have some plants which are within a couple weeks of harvest and others that have 4-6 weeks. I dont want to spray them with the baking soda mix when they are close to harvest. And even if i had a sulphur burner, wouldnt it NOT be a good to have that thing going off with less than 2 weeks left on some.

I have read (but not tried), that using Tap water at ph 8 mixed w/ hydrogen peroxide would help stop the growth and dissolve spores.

isnt the point of the baking soda to make the surface of the leaf ph 7+.
Im wondering if the residue left by the baking soda is what would make it better than the water @ ph 8 w/ hydrogen peroxide because it stays on the leaf instead of just drying like water would. But if the hydrogen peroxide dissolves the spores, wouldnt that be a decent solution later in flower if using a sulphur burner was NOT a good idea?

SUP DUDES,

GET A SULFUR BURNER AND IT WILL TAKE CARE OF THE MOLDS.
JUST GET SOME SULFUR FROM YOUR LOCAL HYDRO SHOP

IF YOU CANT SPEND THE CASH ON ONE ABOUT 160.00USD THEN TRY USING SOME OTHER TYPE OF HOT SURFACE HOT PLATE CAMPING STOVE ECT

I DID THAT BEFORE TOO WORKS GOOD AS LONG AS ITS HOT ENOUGH TO BURN ABOUT 120 DEGREES PLUS. THIS IS THE ONLY 100% WAY TO GET RID OF IT. GOOD LUCK

i jsut got myself a Safer brand Garden fugicides and spray over my crops yesterday.

it seem the pm has reduce a little and i turn my de-humifier on tho lights off.

the temperature had drop deeply and my room's RH raise like hell.

the weird thing is RH is lower when the light is off, maybe the reason is the de-humifier and it is the day time when lights are off.

right now the RH is 45% when lights are off and 60% when lights on, which mean a fucking good place for PM to grow.

i don't want to make my grow room goes 120+. i did it once and killed half of my crops...

hey litz

if your humidity is higher during lights on it could mean that you don't have enough air flowing through the room. in my experience the lights lower the humidity and yours may be climing at lights on because the plants are transpiring and the moisture is not being vented out of the room fast enough.

peace

At ordinary garden centres (in the UK at least) one can get small tins of sulphur for glasshouse use. The tins have a wick and burn like a candle for a couple of hours. It is a cheap and effective method that you may like to try.

 No one mentioned milk? Come on guys. Mix about 1/4 cup of half & half or whole milk with water in your mist sprayer. Milk waxes the leaves and flakes off when you chop - no taste or bud burn.

theres a product by a company called safergro called "mildew cure".. this stuff is great.. 11 bucks a bottle, and ingredients are all natural/organic, smells like fuckin steak rub and thats what the ingredients are mostly, heh. but spray it on thoroughly, and it leaves a coat on the leaves for a period.. can spray every 5-10 days if needed, in theory up till harvest (though I wouldnt ever spray anything withi 2 weeks of chop, no matter how "organic" and "safe" it is..)

this product is exactly what you're looking for, BUT, it will only address the symptoms, NOT the cause.. you need to fix your humidity..
