Recently I had a GAVITA E Series remote ballast give up on me. Easy fix right? Nope. GAVITA is backordered till' the next eclipse lol.
Easy fix right..just buy another brand of DE ballast..Nope. I'm running an EL-1 GAVITA LIGHT CONTROLLER (Awesome product) and everyone is telling me I have to use GAVITA ballasts inline ONLY. I really don't want to give up the EL-1..NO WAY. It's just too cool and I love all the functions...especially the heat protection peace of mind it gives me.
The broken ballast is going out to GAVITA to see if they can fix it. No garauntee there they say. Might be completely fried. I could be waiting a few weeks for nothing..
Then we called MonsterGardens.com in the Bay...girl on the phone says I have options:
Like GALAXY. Well everyone (and we're talking store owners, growers...retailers etc..the peanut gallery) is telling me NO that won't work...gotta' be GAVITA.
I tried calling GAVITA. lol right..they don't care and the phone rings and rings..
Anyone else run into this problem?
