I have a herniated (L-5)disk and haven't taken anything for it for a few year as really the only thing that worked for me were T3. Celebrex and other pain killer didn't do shit or gave me nasty side effects like stomach gas shooting into my threat, yah nasty. With Celebrex I tried it for three weeks with no pain relief what so ever and after reading some of the heart/stroke issues I stopped. So just lived with 24/7 back pain for a long ass time.
I don't like to smoke weed unless its before bed time as I don't like to be high when I'm working or during the day, I prefer to have a clear head but don't mind it before bed time.
I drive for an hour each way to work so when I get out of my car I walk like a duck for 20 min or so till my back/spine gets stretched out and I was also in a car accident a month ago and my disk has inflamed even more then usual.
What I'm looking for is something that I can take say 30-45 min before I drive but something that will keep my head clear while driving and something that will take the pain away for after I get out of the car.
Anyways buddy of mine suggested I try Marinol as its worked good for him with out any side effects unless he took too much of it. He did say it took a bit of testing to get the right dosage at the right time to get the best effects.
