I'm at 42 and some of mine are preflowering but most are getting into flowering. Are they in pots? If so, try giving them more shade. I think that mine that are flowering got more shade in the afternoon.

9 weeks from today would put you at October 11th so you will be fine. it takes a good week or two into flower until you see hairs. That nice bit of "veg" that is happening right now is actually the stretch from transitioning into bloom :)

try bringing them inside to simulate the dark period, or covering them up if you have that option available. i only have 1 sb girl outside right now that i started bringing in on the 15th of last month but shes packin on weight right now and hopeing to have finished in the first week of september.

I'm at 40 degrees North and about 5800 feet in elevation near the mountains by Denver. Anyway I have 6 different varieties with 3 flowering good and the others showing small flowers, but I wonder if they will finish? Maybe it will be a hot dry fall.

I'm at 37 Lat...some are flowering, some aren't.

The ones that aren't flowering are sativa dominants that won't finish until late October....or November...or maybe December?? Heh.

Let the plants go. They'll flower when they're ready.

HB.

Cartel530 awesome answer. Should I hit with nitrogen to get more veg or let it burn out and the plant eat up the food? I have been feeding half of the low dose. 1tsp per gallon of GH = .5 TSP per gallon of water.

I was considering giving 1tsp of molasses so they had something to do...

A little nitrogen isn't going to hurt them. You aren't going to get more veg though, that is based on daylight hours not nitrogen. I would just give them a nice balanced fertilizer. They need what they need and do what they do, you know? If you "listen" they will tell you what they want. Just give them what they want.

I'm at 40N on us east coast, my power kush is early flowering, lots of little bud sites, trichromes aren't visible yet. If it were indoor, i'd say 7 more weeks, outside who knows?

I'm at 39 and I have 6 of the same strain all at different stages of flower. They were all. Planted at the same time but some are further along than others

I'm at 34.2 L. and my indicas are in preflower. The hybrids are still reaching for the sky, but a few are preflowering, like the Indica dominant ones. The Sativa dominant ones I'm worried about too. Hopefully we'll all finish up completely by October, with no botrytis!! :D

While you may not get more veg.. the plant is consuming a lot of nitrogen when the plants streching and if you not providing the right amount you could slow this stretch down and in turn the size and yield would be reduced. Its funny 6 or 7 years ago most people didnt even harvest until halloween.. Now everyone is trying to pull in september... wonder if thats why outdoor now sucks :)
