So, I currently trying to hook back up my Mini split heat pump...everything is going smooth until the point where I am vacuuming the lines....I am getting it down to 400 microns but when I turn off the high pressure valve my microns keep jumping back up....I've gone back 3 separate times to tighten my copper line connections on both sides and still encountering the same issue.....

My first question would be since I already used the unit for about 18 months or so and disconnected it because I had to move, would this cause any issues? I did buy new copper lines so the flares are good.

Second question is this issue still simply just a bad connection on my part?

any suggestions or advice is welcome,

I actually got things figured out...turns out my micron meter was the issue......my lines were holding pressure but the micron meter was jumping around...professional came to take a look just to tell me it was the meter giving me stress and how I can tell if it happens again next time is look at the low pressure valve gauge, if its holding pressure than there is no leak.
