Einstien from here did one plus I believe he is an electrical engineer. I would holler at him

I personally saw one once that switched 8 1kw HPS, what he did was pretty simple, he flip flopped 2 at a time every 5 minutes, so it would take 20 minutes for all of the lights ( 2 rooms of 4kw HPS) to kick on but he never had a problem with spiking the power. I watched him switch on all 8 at once one time while his Jacuzzi was going and he blew the power box on the corner of his lot and had to have the electric company come out!

i got another question..... what part# and model do i use for the timer and flip flop relays? if any one knows plz post it up... i can easly build the circuit,,,,but I would like info on the flip flops and timers before going to the electrical supply store. peace
